As a multi-functional scenic area and a national forest park, it blends ecological tourism with human landscapes, religious belief, vacation, leisure, scientific popularization and education, entertainment and fitness. The 30-odd low-altitude limestone peaks and hills form a forest landscape unique to this scenic area.
The park consists of four major scenic areas, i.e., Dongshanhuai, Shumuyuan, Shipeng and Xiangshan scenic zones. The Dongshan Temple, the site of the ancient Shouzhou kilns and the Huainan Memorial Forest Park of the New Fourth Army are worth visiting.
