On Dec 27, the signing ceremony of a hotel project between the Anqing Taixin Company and Hilton Hotel was held in Anqing city. Municipal officials attended the ceremony and witnessed the contract’s signing.

Xiang Xiaolong, vice mayor of Anqing, said that as one of the Fortune 500 companies and the world’s biggest international hotel group, Hilton has given Anqing a shot in the arm by choosing it as a location for one of its hotels. The deal is also bound to give a boost to the development and expansion of the hotel industry in Anqing.

The Hilton Hotel project sits at the junction of Linghu North Road and Longmianshan Road. It covers an area of nearly 40,000 square meters and will be built as a five-star hotel. The project, with a total investment of approximately 800 million yuan ($121.2 million), will finish construction by the end of 2013. It will hold 320 guest rooms and spacious banquet and dining halls.
