In order to develop the Yangtze River Delta and realize advantages, coordination meetings for the Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese of the Yangtze River Delta were held in Hefei on May 28.

Wen Haiying, deputy director of the Anhui provincial standing committee of National People's Congress and chairwoman of the Anhui federation of returned overseas Chinese, and Qiao Wei, deputy chairman of China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

The representatives from the federation of returned overseas Chinese from Shanghai, Zhejiang and Jiangxi attended the meeting. The meeting focused on "Returned Overseas and Regional Economic Development".

Wen welcomed them to Anhui and briefed them on the economy in recent years. She said that the Yangtze River Delta has huge development potential, which plays an important role in national economic development.

It is believed that the successful holding of the meeting will promote exchanges from the Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese of the Yangtze River Delta in various fields.

Qiao Wei congratulated and thanked Anhui for its concern and support on behalf of the China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese. He said that the Yangtze River Delta is a creative region, and the federations of the Yangtze River Delta have constantly improved cooperation mechanisms in recent years.
