Huangshan city received a good score on the China Tourism Academy's tourist satisfaction report issued Jan 9. The score, 88.55, is the highest among the 60 sample cities nationwide for the fourth quarter of 2012, and the 3rd place in the whole year. The city also performed well in the annual report, making it to the top three.

Since 2011, Huangshan has promoted the integrated development of the "Trinity" – tourism, culture and ecology. It has also exploited new tourism, such as hot spring recreation, outdoor activities, the city's 100 best photography spots and Huangshan's cycle track. The city also introduced the "Three Improvement Actions", a project that seeks to improve the service quality of scenic spots, rural visiting areas and tour guides.

It has also intensified the law of tourism, strengthened management of the market, established tourism integrity publicity systems and social supervision, and guided the honest management of tourism companies to improve tourist satisfaction. Huangshan city has made the top 10 list for tourist satisfaction for eight quarters in a row.
