Huangshan Mountain will cooperate with Sina Weibo, a Chinese version of Twitter, to introduce a themed interactive activity called 'Taking Weibo to Huangshan Mountain' in the middle of August.
The activity, expected to last until the end of October, contains two major parts – an online promotion and offline experience. It aims to integrate Huangshan Mountain's tourism resources with the help of Sina's mobile network and build an information platform for Huangshan Mountain tourism that is available for 600 million weibo users. Weibo users who like traveling and want tour-related prizes can participate through tweeting Huangshan Mountain.
Out of the weibo users who tweet about Huangshan Mountain, those with the most followers will be invited to take part in the activity to expand their influence. They will experience the tourism route and can continuously promote Huangshan Mountain tourism on weibo.
The official weibo account of Huangshan Mountain will also participate in the activity actively to search for a brand-new promotion pattern in the era of new media.
