A basketball match between Chinese and American teams is scheduled for October 28 in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province, Anhui Business Daily reported on Friday October 18.

Local fans are expected to be thrilled as the US' best streetball team headed by the former NBA star Rafer Alston will play against the Fujian Men's Basketball Team which boasts Wang Zhelin, dubbed the successor to Yaoming.

The Fujian team attaches great importance to the competition, viewing it as a "warm-up" in preparation for the upcoming CBA (China Basketball Association) match, said the organizer.
