Binhu Wetland Forest Park welcomes new sites
Updated: 2013-10-21

Citizens who visited Binhu Wetland Forest Park during the past National Day holiday were able to experience great views for only a short commute. If they come back for next year's May Day holiday, they will be greeted by even more surprises in the park as well as the Niujiao Embankment.

The park is planning to build a new garden with the same name. The new Baicao Garden will serve as a science museum themed around Chinese herbal medicine. The park is also contemplating recreating a scene from 'Niu Jia Village', a village in Kim Yong's famous novel Kung Fu Warlords. Visitors to the village will be able to appreciate some features of the Song Dynasty (960-1279).

Young couples seeking romantic experiences can expect the opening of a small train route in Binhu Wetland Forest Park. The route will start from the fir forest theatre and link half of the spots in the park.

In addition to all the enticing new features, it will also be much more convenient for citizens to reach, since a bus hub and a new parking lot will be built outside the park.

A popular site famous for its 'sea of flowers', Niujiao Embankment will fully open by May Day of 2013. Flower lovers can go to the site and appreciate different flowers in different seasons. Parents will be able to take their kids for a horse ride once the construction of the new 'North American Ranch' is completed.
