On October 19, the second Chaohu Lake Opening Festival will be held in Lujiang county, Hefei city. Visitors will be able to experience the water culture of Chaohu Lake through a series of celebration activities.

The festival will have its opening at Miaozui village, Baishan town, Lujiang county, Hefei city, on October 19. On that day, local fishermen will perform sacrifice ceremonies and local folk songs. A fishing match will also take place at the nearby lake.

Photography fanatics will not want to miss this great event, especially as a photography contest will be held during the festival.

On the morning of October 19, an angling contest jointly organized by the Lujiang County Angling Association and Lujiang county sports bureau will be held at the south bank of Chaohu Lake.

After experiencing the great scenery and exciting activities, tourists can go to the aquatic product fair to go shopping and taste the best lake food at Chaohu Lake.
