Upon finishing construction of Chaohu Lake Circle Road, the Hefei tourism bureau plans to add 40 sightseeing buses and several tourist routes around the lake next year.

Due to height limitations in northern parts of Chaohu Lake Circle Road, the originally purchased sightseeing buses could not be used. Minibuses will now be utilized.

Currently, the construction of the south section of Chaohu Lake Circle Road is speeding up. It will open to traffic next year. After completion, sightseeing buses will be put into use on National Day. Several tourist routes will also be designed. By then, visitors will have the chance to take buses around Chaohu Lake to enjoy its beautiful scenery.
