To adapt to the new situation in Anhui's tourism market, and to promote the integration of aviation and tourism, the Anhui Aviation Tourism Alliance founding ceremony and 2014 summer & autumn air travel promotional meeting was held in Hefei city on the afternoon of April 18.

Zhang Xueping, an inspector from the Anhui provincial Tourism Bureau pointed out in her speech that the increasingly complicated external environment, together with the financial crisis and hazy weather, had placed a heavy downward pressure on the tourism industry, especially on inbound tourism. But under the wise guidance of the government, tourism in Anhui province has been developing healthily. And the development of aviation has played an essential part in that process. The establishment of the Aviation Tourism Alliance will further boost the development of Anhui's tourism.

This ceremony and meeting was co-hosted by the Anhui Tourism Bureau, Anhui Civil Airport Group Company and Luyang Industrial Park Administrative Committee. During the event, delegates expressed their commitment to joining the alliance, and representatives from airline companies such as China Eastern Airlines and Air China presented introductions of their flight routes and promotional policies for the coming summer and autumn. The passenger & cargo sales company of the Anhui Airport Group also introduced its air service products.

Its office is located in the Luyang Industrial Park of Hefei, and the alliance includes 15 airline companies, 50 travel enterprises and terminal towers in the province.
