On May 11, Jingxian county in Anhui province was officially announced as a national photography base for the China Photo Press newspaper.

With more than two thousand years of history, Jingxian is rich in cultural heritage. There are five national-level protection buildings, such as Chaji ancient buildings and 10 provincial-level protection buildings such as Xiyuang theatrical stage. Jingxian also boasts rich intangible cultural heritages. It's the world-known hometown of China's Xuan paper, hometown of China's Xuan brush pens, and hometown of China's wooden combs.

As a national model green county, Jingxian represents the beautiful landscape of South Anhui. It is home to famous scenic spots including Taiping Lake, Peach Flower Pool, and Moon Bay.

China Photo Press is a professional photography newspaper sponsored by the Chinese Photographers Association. It was founded in 1987, and is currently the most popular photographic newspaper in China and has great influence among photography enthusiasts.
