The venture service system for Zhongguancun's overseas returnees held a working conference to review their work in 2011.

Zhongguancun has begun to attract overseas returnees to start new businesses in China since 1997. Now there are 33 overseas returnees' pioneer parks with a total incubation area of 3.2 million square meters. The total sum of the investment funds in these parks has now reached 850 million yuan ($125 million), with 155 enterprises involved.

In 2012, Zhongguancun's overseas returnees' pioneer parks will focus on the following four aspects to improve the service system.

First, these parks will improve the business incubation service system and create an optimized environment to meet the demands of setting up an enterprise for the overseas returnees of Zhongguancun.

Second, they will integrate advantageous resources and encourage the role of the government in linking with overseas talents to implement policies and provide better services.

Third, these parks will explore new ways to attract overseas talents.

Lastly, they will study relevant policies in the nation to establish a scientific system of training.
