Guo Wei, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Digital China

Guo Wei graduated from the University of Science & Technology with a master's degree in 1988.

Digital China was split off from the Lenovo Group in 2000. Following the split, Guo Wei led the team and began efforts to transform the company into the top brand in China's IT service industry. Under his leadership, Digital China has become the dominant force in China's IT industry and taken the lead in fields such as supply chain management service, value-added service and IT services. Currently, the company is China's biggest professional service provider of IT products.

Guo Wei focuses on theory-based management practices. He has proposed various theories, including the "Business Four-Section Statement" in 2001. His work has significantly guided the development of e-commerce, e-government and corporate management in China.

Guo Wei has been honored with the 2002 China Top 10 Outstanding Youth prize, the Gold Prize for 2005 China Youth Entrepreneur in Management Innovation, the 2003 China Future Economic Leader prize, and 2001 Excellent Worker of the Chinese Academy of Sciences prize.

Guo Wei is a member of the 11th National People's Congress of the CPPCC, member of the fourth Advisory Committee for State Information, and the director-general of the Beijing Zhongguancun IT Professionals Association.
