Zhang Hui, Chairman and CEO of Beijing InnoFidei Technology Limited
Founded in 2006, Beijing InnoFidei Technology Ltd. has made outstanding contributions to the development of the China Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting (CMMB) system and the latest generation of TD-LTE techniques.
Zhang Hui graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a doctorate in electrical engineering.
He is the secretary-general and technical planning headman of the Mobile Multimedia Technology Alliance (MMTA).
He was the joint founder, director and standing vice president of Vimicro Corporation, the first Chinese chip design company listed on the NASDAQ.
Zhang Hui founded Beijing InnoFidei Technology Limited in September 2006 to promote and industrialize China's innovative technologies. In March 2007, InnoFidei created the world's first CMMB receiver demodulation chip, laying a foundation for the nation's CMMB industry.
In August 2008, Zhang Hui and his InnoFidei team delivered CMMB services to the 2008 Olympic Games. The Beijing Olympic Games were the first Olympic Games to be broadcast by pocket televisions.
In March 2010, InnoFidei launched the first TD-LTE chip in the world and became a candidate on the shortlist for the China Mobile Expo Experimental Network. It cooperated with Motorola, ZTE, Huawei and other world leading system manufacturers in debugging and testing.
