Lou Kaili established the Chinese Psychology Network and the Chinese Psychology School in 2000. He later organized the compilation of China's first national standard textbook for psychiatrists. Lou also developed the first set of Chinese personal psychometrics and software and founded the first employee assistance program (EAP) international enterprise psychology service forum.
He has visited Europe and the United States many times for academic exchanges with higher education institutions.
In 2008, he sponsored and established the "512 Spirit Guardian Fund" for disaster areas affected by the Wenchuan earthquake that hit on May 12, 2008. The fund raised a total of about 10 million yuan ($1.61 million) for the areas.
He founded 365 Customer Service Network in 2010 to provide customer service research and navigation services.
