Zhang Hui, founder of Innofidei |
Zhang Hui was born in 1973 in Zhejiang province. He holds a bachelor's degree in physics from the University of Science and Technology and a doctorate in engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, where he received the Outstanding Alumnus Award from the College of Engineering.
Prior to Innofidei, Zhang worked for Bell Laboratories of Lucent Technologies. He co-founded Vimicro after he returned China.
He founded Innofidei in 2006. After several years of rapid growth, the company has become a leader in developing mobile multimedia terminal chips. With its innovative products, Innofidei successfully serviced the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing and the 2010 Shanghai World Expo.
Innofidei has established a strategic and cooperative relationship with China Mobile and has worked with international partners in TD-LTE network testing, paving the way for the future development of mobile communication and mobile Internet.
Zhang was awarded the first prize of the State Science and Technology Award, and was honored as a "Distinguished Beijing Youth" and "Distinguished Youth in the Software Industry". He became a standing committee member of the China Youth Federation in 2010.
Zhang was listed among outstanding figures in the nation's "1,000 Talent Plan" in 2008.
