As a forerunner in China's online gaming industry, Xing is an expert in market operation and game development. He is known as the pioneering manager in the field.

He joined Beijing Youth Daily at 17 and became a journalist for the Student News Agency. In 1998, he joined Kingsoft and worked in product marketing.

In 2002, he entered the PC online game industry when he co-founded Beijing Huanle Shidai Technology Ltd, serving as vice-manager. In 2008, he joined 70yx.com as vice-president and COO before his promotion as president. In 2011, he left 70yx.com and founded Locojoy, where he began to focus on developing games on mobile devices.

In addition to his experience in online game development and marketing, Xing is also a well-known writer of Chinese online literature. His works became bestsellers and were adapted into games and movies.
