Li Qiulin is the director of the tax reform research center at the Zhongguancun Society of Capital Market and chief tax expert for Zhongguancun Science Park. He is a certified tax agent, certified public accountant and registered land appraiser. He serves as tax advisor for more than 10 major companies in China, including Lenovo, Chinalco and Sinohydro.
From 1991 to 2001, Li worked in tax collection, tax inspection and tax policy. He was the vice-president and key account manager of China Taxation Agency. He is now the president of Beijing Zhongshui Zhongzhi Taxation Consultancy. He also serves as a tax lecturer at the Association of International Education and staff writer of The Certified Tax Agents magazine.
With more than 20 years of experience in the theory and practice of taxation, Li has a deep understanding of China's taxation. He engages in tax planning and tax consultancy for over 50 large State-owned companies in China and has resolved many tax issues for them. He is also seasoned in tax planning for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) seeking to go public. His successful cases include Sinovel and NorthMan Energy Technology.
