The Beijing Tidelion S&I Rainwater Harvesting Technology Co Ltd was established in Changping Park as part of the Zhongguancun Science Park in Beijing in April 2003.
It has developed into a solutions provider of comprehensive rainwater-utilization systems, including rainwater drainage, collection, storage and utilization systems.
The company owns intellectual property products such as the Tidelion siphonic roof drains, suspension pipe system and integrated technology of infiltration and drainage.
It has achieved major breakthroughs in rainwater utilization and drainage layer technologies for commercialization and scientific purposes.
It has won 30 patents and participated in editing several national and industry standards. It is the driving force of the more than 100-billion-yuan ($15.85-billion) rainwater collections and utilization sector.
The company opened branch offices and subsidiaries in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Qingdao, Tianjin, Wuhan, Kunming and Changchun and built a national marketing network with more than 30 dealers and an after-sales service system.
It has completed more than 1,500 national, provincial and municipal projects and 21 Olympic and its auxiliary projects, including the National Aquatic Center, the Beijing Olympic Center, the Beijing Wukesong Culture and Sports Center, the China National Convention Center and the renovation and expansion of the Beijing Capital International Airport.
The company has also completed other key projects, including renovations and expansion of the Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, the US Pavilion, Australia Pavilion and Spain Pavilion of Shanghai World Expo and the rainwater comprehensive utilization project in New Beichuan Town.
It is developing overseas markets with dealers and construction projects in Singapore, Congo, Indonesia and South Africa.
