Qihoo 360, one of China's technology giants, recently announced a commercialization strategy for its search business, Economic Daily reported.
It took the company one year to see a surge in market share that many other insiders usually take three years to obtain, said Yu Guangdong, Qihoo 360's vice president for search business.

The company claimed a 24 percent domestic market share in 2013, and this target was accomplished one quarter ahead of schedule.
Qihoo 360 expects to triple the income from its search business agents in 2014, but said it would not commercialize its medical care and mobile search services.
