The Returned Overseas Pioneer Park of the Beijing Institute of Technology recently invited Han Piaoyang, an expert on intellectual property rights, to give a lecture on the application process of patents for enterprises, according to the Zhongguancun administrative committee.

A total of 75 representatives from Zhongguancun companies attended the lecture, which provided detailed explanations on patent applications. The participants put their questions to the lecturer, such as how to reduce costs on patent application and whether they can make any modification or not after submitting application documents.

Han Piaoyang’s lecture helped the companies in Zhongguancun Science Park know more about patent applications and improved the companies’ awareness of intellectual property rights. The seminar was also the first of a series of lectures on intellectual property rights.
