Zhongguancun plans to establish the Cuihu Cloud Center in Zhongguancun Haidian Science Park. The area contains an industrial belt of 13 science parks, home to more than 600 renowned enterprises including Huawei and Telecommunication Institute.

The industrial belt is a high-end industrial agglomeration area integrating Internet, cloud computing, integrated circuits, biological engineering, pharmaceuticals, new materials and energy.

After completion, the area will become an urban development area containing a first level technological innovation base with global influence and more than 1,000 billions yuan ($161.2 billion) of annual revenue.

The Cuihu Cloud Center will establish the only industrial "source of radiation" in the northern part of Haidian Park. Centering on industrial promotion and technological services, the Cuihu Cloud Center will interact with surrounding markets and build an economic environment for industrial services in the park.

In addition, the Cuihu Cloud Center will establish four special service platforms to provide comprehensive services and lead the regional industry. The Cuihu Cloud Center will be the headquarters of the Zhongguancun Innovation Service Center.

The Cuihu Cloud Center provides platforms ranging from 600 to 2,700 square meters. The two storey building is as tall as usual four storey buildings. Each floor of the building is as tall as 6.6 meters. The creative design of the building serves to encourage innovative ideas.
