Zhongguancun announces Top 10 returning Chinese

Beijing was the site of the 13th Zhongguancun talent forum, at the Techart Plaza, on April 16, where the list of the Top 10 Zhongguancun stars, people who returned from overseas in 2015 was announced, with sponsorship from the Zhongguancun Talent Association.

The average age of the winners was 38, and four of them have PhDs and one is candidate part of China's Global Expert Recruitment Program. One of them Liu Haoyang, develops Noitom Technology, after returning from the US, which deals with sensor-based motion capture technology and developed the world’s first wireless motion capture system and the first whole-body motion capture system for the Game of Thrones that won an Emmy Award for virtual effects.

Another honoree, Long Xiang, works in computers, electronics, communications and mechanics and founded the Metis IP company in Beijing, which has developed - patent headhunting business - a patent search model for acquiring overseas patents to help domestic enterprises get foreign patents.

And finally, Cui Jingjing, named a big data expert by the Beijing human resources and social security bureau, has led the GEO Co, in getting six patents and two software copyrights so that its revenues are expected to break the 100-million-yuan ($15.44 million) mark and it has put $100 million into supporting micro-to-small start-ups in big data.
