The Changping preliminary round of the Huaxia Bank Cup 1st Beijing Cultural Innovation Entrepreneurship Competition opened on August 5 in Changping District of Beijing and will last until September.

The contest, sponsored by Changping Park of Zhongguancun Science Park and the Cultural Creative Industry Promotion Association of Changping District, invited numerous experts, scholars, and investors as well as entrepreneurs. Three high-tech programs, HandVC, Heyha World and Mozik, had already obtained direct promotion opportunities before the contest.

Projects participating in the competition include Wedding Hero, which offers C2C model support for weddings; Three Bears' Vacations, offering high-quality services and investment opportunities in tourism real estate management; and Yi Mu, which creates a standardized, automated and intelligent platform for SAAS product-making.

The competition was held in the HUI+ Business Library which is the incubator of the entrepreneurships and the location of the roadshows of high-tech projects in Huilongguan and Tiantongyuan Community. The business library is also a kind of study and living room where the 600,000 residents can read and meet.

Ren Yanmei, vice director of Changping Park of Zhongguancun Science Park's Management Committee, said Huilongguan and Tiantongyuan are two communities with high intensive multilayer talents. The competition aims to encourage talents to start up their own businesses and to build an innovation and entrepreneurship nesting zone.
