The China-Israel Innovation Center (Tel Aviv) was unveiled at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya (IDC Herzliya) in Herzliya, a central coastal city in Israel, on Aug 3.
The center is the result of a cooperation agreement inked between Beijing Zhongguancun Street Operations Management Co Ltd and Israel’s Compass Ventures Group.
Du Peng, general manager of Beijing Zhongguancun Street Operations Management Co Ltd, said that the China Israel Innovation Center’s branch in the Zhongguancun Science Park will be officially opened in November, building a bridge for cooperation between high-tech companies in China and Israel.

Since China and Israel established a partner relationship in March, deepened cooperation between the two countries has been seen in several areas.
Dr. Ronen Dagon, chairman of Compass Ventures, said, "I think Zhongguancun is an ideal platform for foreign investors and technology companies, and it is the best place for our company to take our first step in China."
Sha Haijiang, director of the Haidian district government in Beijing, said that the innovation center will help Zhongguancun to attract high-tech talents and introduce technology from Israel and other countries.
