Zhongguancun company Face ++ went on stage with its face recognition technology during the 4th China-Eurasia Security Expo, which was held at Xinjiang International Convention Center in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region from Aug 17 to 19.
The event has attracted more than 650 companies from over 30 countries and regions including the United States, India, Japan, and the State of Israel.
Face ++ exhibited its facial recognition product consisting of a camera, a liquid crystal display (LCD) and a host system. The system can grasp and store facial features of an individual as soon as the person faces the camera for the first time. When the person shows up in the camera for the second time the connected door will open, otherwise the system will give out warnings.
