Finals of 2018 China-US new energy field competition set for Nov 5

As an example of the China-US scientific and technological exchanges and international cooperation launched jointly by Changping District and Future Science City, the final round of the 2018 China-US Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in the new energy field will be held in Changping, Beijing on November 5th.

With support from the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Chinese Consulate General in Houston, the event is hosted by the China Science and Technology Exchange Center, the US-China Innovation Alliance, the Management Committee of Changping Science Park, the Management Committee of Beijing Future Science City and other units.

Sixteen teams from the seven American cities of Chicago, Denver, Houston, Atlanta, San Francisco, Boston and Seattle will participate in the competition.

The main items for the competition include solutions to microgrid control, combustors catalyzed with the aid of vortex-plasma, and diesel engine projects using liquid alternative fuels.

Each team will present their innovative and entrepreneurial ideas about project surveys, industry status, market expectations, competitors, business models, risk responses and entrepreneurial teams.

The final rankings will be based on the road show and competitors’ performance at the Q&A session.

Chinese companies in Changping District will also showcase their new energy and environmental projects during the competition.

Meanwhile, team members, entrepreneurial tutors and investors will be able to explore the possibilities of collaboration with enterprises from Changping District and Future Science City participating in the event.
