Neo-Neon was incorporated in 1979. In 1996, it moved its production base to Heshan, Guangdong province and built up the Neo-Neon Technology Park. The move enabled Neo-Neon to cut costs effectively by supplying parts, components and even packaging materials through its own subsidiaries. With the low cost advantage, Neo-Neon built up the world’s biggest LED production base, biggest LED experience center, biggest “small-package” replacement bulb production center and biggest Asian stage laser-lighting production base. Neo-Neon is certified by the American “Energy Star” program. It started LED research and promotion as early as 1997 and was the first enterprise to develop LED applied products. It sets the national standard in LED production.
Neo-Neon’s LED products cover a wide range, from LED chips, LED packages, LED commercial lighting, LED street lighting, LED decorative lighting, stage lighting, laser lighting, multi-media display systems and solar energy lighting. Its products are sold in more than 100 countries and areas, including the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Europe and North America. It was the provider of LED screens for the 2008 Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony, the Olympic National Park and over 10 pavilions in the 2010 Shanghai Expo.
