Penalties for acts illegally invading a computer information system

According to provisions of Law on Penalties for Administration of Public Security, any person who commits any of the following acts shall be imposed on of a detention of not more than five days; if the circumstances are serious, a detention of not less than five days but not more than ten days will be imposed on: (1) acts of in violation of regulations of the country, invading a computer information system and causing harm; (2) in violation of regulations of the country, deleting, revising, adding or interfering with the functions of a computer information system, and making the system not operating normally; (3) in violation of regulations of the country, deleting, revising or adding the stored, processed or transmitted data and application programs of a computer information system; or (4) intentionally making or transmitting destructive programs such as computer virus, and affecting the normal operation of a computer information system.
