Wuxi promotes awareness of law to celebrate national Constitution Day

Wuxi held a promotion on Dec 4, the second national Constitution Day in Rongxiang sub-district, Binhu district to inform residents of legal remedies and improve their awareness of the Constitution.

In the morning, staff and volunteers from the local departments of justice, environmental protection, safety supervision, human resources and social security, health and family planning, and police stations, started their promotions in the square of Rong Yiren Memorial Hall.

They distributed leaflets and brochures with questions and answers on legal information, fire-fighting and prevention, gas safety, laws on marriage and the family, environmental protection, information on medical insurance as well as tips to prevent people from fraud, robbery and burglary.

The safety tips on the proper use of natural gas were also well received by local residents.

A policeman surnamed Zhou distributed brochures and recycle bags painted with cyber fraud prevention tips, and informed people of different types of fraud. Several “Chinese Dama”, or middle-aged and old women, also asked for help in how to settle family quarrels and protect themselves through the law.
