More than 2,442 fugitive officials who absconded with 8.54 billion yuan (1.23 $) have been repatriated from more than 70 countries and regions, according to the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China.
The leadership with President Xi Jinping as a core has been carrying out fugitive pursuit through international anti-corruption cooperation and large numbers of fugitive officials have been located and detained.
