At the same time, we will place even greater emphasis on the realization that enterprises must recognize the professional value of China’s intellectual property managers. Currently, IP managers have become the backbone of corporate innovation and development in many enterprises in China. However, many in-house IP managers are still not adequately compensated for their abilities and the value of their service. This is a result of the limitations in corporate scale, a lack of awareness by corporate executives, a general undervaluing of the status of IP departments and the professional experiences of managers.
Based on the results of the "Survey on Career Situation of IP Managers in China," the forum will also address the most common problems and offer targeted solutions in group discussions. The section on "Face-to-face communication with CEOs" will provide the participants with an opportunity to discuss communication skills and strategies with corporate executives and experts from R&D departments. CEOs will share advanced and practical experiences in IP management, which will help to enhance the professional competence and value of IP managers in China.
A ceremony for announcing and presenting awards for "China’s Outstanding IP Managers" will be held during the dinner party. After a public and committee recommendation, we will organize a grand debut of the winners of the "China’s Outstanding IP Managers" awards and recognize them for their outstanding performance in in-house IP management as well as elevate their professional identity and improve the pride of IP manager teams.
The ceremony will become an annual event for Chinese IP managers. More than 300 IP managers from domestic and foreign enterprises, industry authorities and elites will join us Thursday, January 10th, 2013 in Beijing. We are looking forward to your attendance and participation.
