The First Chinese Film and Television Copyright Auction Kicked off

On November 15th, the first Chinese Film and Television Copyright Auction was successfully launched in Beijing. The auction applied an updated Online to Offline (O2O) pattern and established the first opened service platform for copyrights in China. According to the statistic released, the auction has attracted a total of 860 literary works to participate, including 682 scripts, 146 novels, and 32 film and television projects (among which 28 are from overseas). The content covered various aspects such as history, romance, suspense and mysteries, science fiction, ethics and war. Among ten recommended works on the opening day, three Hollywood productions stayed as the most eye-catching projects. They are Skyline II (the sequel of the famous science fiction thriller film Skyline), Frank or Francis (the script written by Oscar winner Charlie Kaufman), and Salty (an action comedy stared by famous Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage).
