Alibaba Group and the International Publishers Copyright Protection Coalition in China (IPCC) announced that they had signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enlarge their cooperation on IP infringement.

Their first cooperation agreement can be dated back to August, 2011. This new MoU aims at striking the IP infringement concerning two online shopping websites owned by Alibaba, AliExpress and Taobao.

The IPCC is composed of 17 international publishers. It will help Alibaba identify the potential infringement goods selling on AliExpress and Taobao so that they can take proper actions, for example, to delete the relevant goods information.
