Knowing the historic background and overall layout of Daming Palace, Liu Xiaoqing watched a video to promote Hanyuan Hall and visited the Dangfeng Door. She was keen on the history and impressed with the glorious vigor of the Palace.
"The only feeling when I walked through the Park was imperial," said Liu Xiaoqing, adding that Daming palace deserved its nickname of "the Tiananmen of Xi'an city".
Daming Palace was once the political, economic and cultural centre of the Tang dynastry, once of the strongest dynasties in China's history. Empress Wu once held a banquet in Qilin Hall to treat Japan ambassador Sutianzhenren. Her third son was also born in this palace.
Liu Xiaoqing is said to be a spokeswoman of Daming Palace, which will be open to the public on the National Day.
