RMB 60 per person priced for Daming Palace National Heritage Park

The Daming Palace National Heritage Park in Xi'an will be officially opened to the public on this year's National Day. Shaanxi administration of commodity prices announced on September 16 that RMB 60 per person will be priced for trial during the first eight months after the opening of the park.

According to the Shaanxi administration of commodity prices, since "Heritage Site Preservation Demonstration Park" is still under construction, the ticket should be priced in stages according to the construction process.

RMB 60 per person will be charged from October 1, 2010 to May 31, 2011. Shaanxi administration of commodity prices will reset the ticket price according to construction process of "Heritage Site Preservation Demonstration Park" after the period of trial operation.

Being one of Xi'an major heritage protection projects, the Daming Palace Natioanl Heritage Park has undergone preservation and renovation project since October, 2007.

Daming Palace, once the center of politics, economy and culture during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618-907), is one of the greatest and most magnificent palace architectural complexes in the world.
