Introduction

Shaanxi Tang Daming Palace Heritage Site Preservation Foundation was approved by Shaanxi Provincial Department of Civil Affairs and set up in 2008. As a non-profit public fund, it aims to mobilize the various circles of society on a wide scale to participate in and support the preservation of Daming Palace Heritage Site, to promote mutual understanding, exchanges and cooperation between heritage and cultural communities, museums, etc, and to improve the exhibition for heritage preservation of Daming Palace Heritage Site, the development of its museums, and the related scientific research.

Shaanxi Tang Daming Palace Heritage Site Preservation Foundation initiated by Xi’an Qujiang Daming Palace Relics Region Preservation and Development Office. The general director is Mr. Chen Zhongshi - a well-known writer.

The establishment of Shaanxi Tang Daming Palace Heritage Site Preservation Foundation indicates that 50 years’ preservation work of Daming Palace Heritage Site has moved to a new stage of social participation and supports of different sectors of the community from a period of basic relying on the government.
