The Great Wild Goose Pagoda

Build in the Sui Dynasty (581-618), the Great Wild Goose Pagoda is located in the Ci'en Temple (the Mercy and Favor Temple) about 4 kilometers away from the Hepingmen Gate of Xi'an City.

Qin Terra Cotta Army Museum

The world-famous Qin Terra Cotta Army Museum is a site museum in China. It is located at the northern piedmont of Lishan Mountain and built on the site of the terra-cotta warriors and horses pits in the Emperor Qin's Mausoleum.

Bell Tower

The Bell Tower, built in 1384 during the Ming dynasty (1368-1644), is located at the crossing of the east, west, north and south avenues of central Xi’an.

Xi’an City Wall

The Xi’an City Wall, located in the downtown area of Xi’an, is the largest in size, most well-preserved city wall in China. It was built in early Ming Dynasty on the basis of the capital city Chang’an of Tang Dynasty.

Qin Terra Cotta Army Museum

The world-famous Qin Terra Cotta Army Museum is a site museum in China. Built on the site of the terra-cotta warriors and horses pits in the Emperor Qin's Mausoleum, the museum is located at the northern piedmont of Lishan Mountain 7.5 kilometers east of Lingtong County in Shaanxi Province and 37.5 kilometers west of Xi'an City.

Tang Dynasty Wall Relics Park

Tang Dynasty Wall Relics Park, located in Qujiang new district, covers an area of nearly 1000 mu, with a total length of 3.8 km, a width of 100 m. It serves as an open artistic gallery featuring Tang Dynasty cultures.

Huashan

At a height of 2,160 meters above sea level and about 120km east of Xi'an, Huashan, literally Flower Mountain, is undoubtedly a sight for sore eyes. This mountain is celebrated for its majestic breath-taking crags, steep paths, beautiful scenery.

Decoding the Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shihuang

An embankment about 3,500 m long and 40 m wide was built between the Mt. Lishan and the mausoleum to divert water from the mountain to the Weihe River and protect the tomb and the burial pits from water.

More than Terracotta Warriors: Hidden fortunes in Xi'an

Visitors to the 1.3-sq-km structure can view historical artifacts, watch costumed chime-music performances and clang the 5-ton bell. The tower was built in 1384 as a timepiece and warning alarm.
