From September 11 to 15, the Bureau of Cultural Affairs of Dehong prefecture provided training to about 100 professional backbones and cultural workers from all cultural entities of Dehong prefecture on the professional theory and operational skills.

During this period, trainees were given 13 trainings, including basic knowledge about heritage, dancing of Dai ethnic group, etc.

“With the development of our economy, people of all ethnics demand more and more from the spiritual and cultural life,” said Xu Guirong, party secretary of Dehong Bureau of Cultural Affairs, over the opening of the training class.

He urged the working staff in the cultural field to advocate the promotion and publication of local abundant ethnical cultural resources .

He also appealed for developing and organizing healthy and colorful cultural activities to continuously satisfy people’s needs to improve local culture.
