The 2010 Kunming Munao Singing Party of the Jingpo Ethnic Group was held in Yunnan Jingpo folk village from October 2 to 3.

Under the theme of “unity, progress, development”, the 2010 Munao Singing Party fully displayed the cultural essence of the music, dancing, and clothing of the Jingpo ethnic group. This was the third time Kunming held the Party, having first hosted it in 2000 and then again in 2005.

"Munao" means singing and dancing together in the Jingpo dialect. It is the grandest traditional festival of the Jingpo ethnic group, celebrated in order to drive away evil, promote goodness, bring good luck and celebrate the bumper harvest.
