On the morning of Nov 15, Yunnan’s fourth session of social science academic conference, Dehong special performance, was held in Mangshi city.

“Holding this annual conference in Dehong will do a lot to drive the rapid economic and social development. We will learn from the attending experts about how to develop Dehong scientifically,” said Tian Dayu, director of the Publicity Department of Dehong.

The theme of this academic conference was “Establish Bridgehead in Southwest China: Opportunity and Development.” It had one main venue and five special venues, and Dehong was one of the special venues.

The social science academic conference is an important way of promoting the prosperity and development of Yunnan province’s social science.
