On Nov 30, Ruili received 50 "green computers" thanks to the program "Green Computers into West".

The program is organized by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Spiritual Civilization Office of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Ministry of Culture.

These green computers, worth 200,000 yuan, were allocated to local schools and communities, easing the shortage of computers in the area. The donated computers will enrich the lives of local residents and contribute to cultural, scientific and educational development. Representatives of local schools and communities said at the donation ceremony that these computers would be fully made use of.
