In a press conference held on December 17, Dehong Hogou Coffee and UCC, a famous Japanese coffee company, agreed to work hand in hand to develop their business in the coffee industry.

Mr Tatsushi Ueshima, president of UCC, and Xiong Xiangru, president of the Dehong Hogu Coffee Company, attended the press conference. The two presidents announced that their companies had reached agreements to cooperate in the purchase of raw materials, production of coffee, and coffee-planting.

Mr Tatsushi Ueshima said at the press conference that the cooperation would make Japan the main coffee exporting country to Yunnan province, China, and UCC would provide its experience and expect to learn from its partner. Xiong Xiangru said that cooperating with UCC, a world-class coffee company, would help improve the reputation of the Hogou Coffee Company and he has a lot to learn from UCC.
