China Eastern Airlines will begin a trial of charter flights from Mangshi in Dehong prefecture, Southwest China's Yunnan province, to Mandalay in Myanmar as bilateral trade and tourism grow.

Six days of trial flights will be launched by April 26, but it remains unclear when regular fights will start.

According to statistics from the provincial commerce authorities, The province is Myanmar's biggest trading partner. Exports to the country last year were around $1.1 billion.
