Fake-proof marks of the ticket
The tickets used are E-tickets made of special paper aimed at preventing illegal reproduction. Proprietary microchip technology added to the tickets ensures that the tickets are secured, informative, highly efficient, and worthy of collection. Everyone will be able to easily recognize fake tickets in four ways.
1) The First way is by simple observation:
The six special features are directly observable under both natural light and artificial light: the Chang’an Flower pattern on the right side of the front face of the ticket is transparent when observed straight on, but green when observed at a 45 degree angle; the lower part of the ticket, beneath the text, is golden when observed from straight on, and is green when observed at an angle. It has a distinct metallic luster under strong light; iridescent glitter of blue, golden, pink and green colors can be observed on the back of the ticket when changing the angle. This glitter is randomly distributed and close to the paper;. There are background patterns with the shape of the Xi’an Int’l Horticultural Expo logo in relief; coding consisting of stenciled white letters and numbers on a black background; and clear antenna shadowing can be observed on the tickets when held against light, the shadowing can be even clearer when using strong light.
2) The second way is by touch:
The surface of the text on the lower part of the tickets has a distinctly rough texture.
3) The third way is by viewing beneath an ultraviolet light:
Fine filaments printed with fluorescent printing inks of three colors can be observed on the front face of the Expo tickets when held beneath an ultraviolet light; the Expo emblem can also be seen on the center part of the back.
4) The fourth way is viewing beneath a magnifier:
The following “EXPO 2011” can be observed on the hyphen in “2011.4.28-10.22” when viewed under a magnifier.
Sales networks
For the convenience of those who would buy the tickets, organizers have decided to optimize the distribution of sales networks. Regular tickets and specific day tickets are available at designated outlets including China Mobile, China Post, and the Line Supermarkets in Xi’an. More agencies and outlets will be added during the Expo period.
