Zhao Yulin, 99, a veteran of the War of Resistance Against Japan (1937-1945), recounts the hard fight which claimed lives of more than 20 million Chinese people, during a groundbreaking ceremony of a memorial wall in Fuzhou, capital of Fujian province. The ceremony was held on July 7, the 78th anniversary of the Marco Polo Bridge Incident, or July 7 Incident, in 1937, which marks the start of the war. The memorial wall is scheduled to be completed by September. [Photo/Xinhua]
