The world coffee giant, Starbucks, opened its first cafe in Fuzhou on September 28th. Starbucks lovers swarmed the street and queued in front of the store, hoping to purchase one cup and enjoy their moment of drinking.
The first-ever store, which has been labeled the flagship store of Starbucks in Fuzhou, is just part of the plans that Starbucks has to “conquer” the Fuzhou market. “Before there were only some small stands to serve coffee lovers. Few of the big corporations in the field of coffee chose to open a branch here,” reviewed by a local resident Cheng, an experienced expert in foreign trade.
In the future, the coming of Starbucks is sure to inject strong power into Fuzhou and trigger quite a number of changes. Fuzhou’s coffee industry will be sure to form its own character and accommodate itself to all walks of life.
