An architecture photographic exhibition was held in Wuping Museum, Wuping county, Fujian province on Feb 1.

More than 100 photos captured the beauty of ancient buildings in western Fujian, including ancestral halls, temples, streets, roofed bridges, academic buildings and residential buildings.

The exhibition aimed to evoke local people’s love for their traditional culture and promote their continued harmonious relation with nature.

Wuping has made efforts in protecting ancient buildings in recent years. Over 100 ancient buildings are currently registered, some of which have undergone repair work to restore their original appearance.
