CCB supports Pingnan small enterprises

Pingnan Branch of the China Construction Bank (CCB) has been dedicated to helping small local enterprises with their financing. The branch searches capital needs through government-bank-enterprise forums held monthly by the Pingnan government and developed credit products to support industries with Pingnan local features such as bamboo processing, agri-product processing, food and tourism. Wangcheng Handicraft Product Co Ltd, once a family workshop whose registered capital was 27,000 yuan, has enlarged this number to 10 million with years of help from Ping Branch of the CCB. This year, Wangcheng, to expand its production, was offered a loan of 5.2 million yuan by the bank.

In the first half of 2012, Ping Branch has made loans of RMB 329.1 million to 55 small enterprises and offered in total RMB 600 million of credit support to 88 small enterprises. With its support, a number of Pingnan small enterprises have grown rapidly, including Wangcheng, Fujian Countryside Kitchen Food Co Ltd, Fujian Huizelong Wine Co Ltd, and Fujian Gaoshan Agriculture Development Co Ltd.
