Pingnan selected as provincial ecological county

Pingnan has passed the inspection of Fujian experts on its application of provincial ecological county on Dec 27. The county has worked hard on pollution prevention and control.

It has especially focused on enhancing the reputation of its Baishuiyang Scenic Spot, which is five star scenic spot approved by the national authority.

The county has been working hard on developing featured agriculture, green agriculture. It has also focused on the developing of industries such as edible mushroom, tea, traditional Chinese medicine and vegetables and fruits.

It is also considering establishing a green planting base and an export processing base. Pingnan also cares about the construction of livable communities.

The county has been working hard to promote the landscaping of its communities in hope that its residents can live comfortably and happily.
